While I'm not sure I'm supposed to laugh, I did in several places. This is quite well structured, and the plot isn't blatantly obvious and dull like some of my fics turn out. However, if I could just make one suggestion, for the most part it was one large mass of text and it became slightly hard to read at times. On another note, I applaud you for writing a ShizNat fic. Some people dislike canon pairings but I'm not one of them. So yeah, don't give up, you're doing great ^_^
