Well all in all i still enjoyed reading this story thank goodness you made a sequel of this because if not i'll probably would'nt enjoy reading this cause i hate reading story that has no happy ending. Thank you for such a good story. Im going to read the sequel next. |

She has always had low confidence in herself when it came to Kikyou and it is easy for her to assume that he had gone back to her. Great job, now I'm off to read the sequel. Hopefully there will be a happy ending if Inuyasha's thoughts are anything to go by.

Seriously, WOW. You've managed to tackle the idea of suicide without overbearing angst and a pure and elegant grace. Your wordsmithing is utterly brilliant as well! Hope to read more from you! Well done :)

I have to say, this is a different side of Kagome I didn't think I would be seeing. Good job on making her depression seem real! I noticed however, even though it was only minor, you slipped into present tense once in a while. It's not a bad, and I could still make sense of the story but try and stay in the tense you choose! (I do it too sometimes.) One more thing. If you're going for a darker approach, perhaps you should leave out the bit with Sesshoumaru owing him a favor. Ending the story upon Inuyasha discoering her death would have been excellent.

Reviewed By: Trillian42 [MediaMiner Member] On: September 14, 2006 17:00 EDT Comment/Review: Sorry. Love your writing, love your stories. But I hate any fic that has Kagome committing suicide, especially over Inuyasha/Kikyo. It's an absurd notion, and completely out of character. Kagome is much too strong a young woman to do that, no matter how devistated she might be.

Reviewed By: bluezinthos nsi On: September 13, 2006 09:28 EDT Comment/Review: i paniced when i first read this. i thought 'nooo! she always gives me my dose of happy! how could she!' but you showed in this piece that no matter what the words or actions of inuyasha, kikyou is someone that kagome will always fear more important than her. i think even if inuyasha told her he wanted to talk to kikyou and tell her he chose kagome she would always wonder if all they did was talk. i love the song you chose and i'm glad for the happy(ish) ending. i'm happy that inuyasha didn't panic (i'd like to think that'll come after she's revived) and i have a feeling that the two will end up having a long talk about why she couldn't trust him after he was building them a home together. as always your work is some of my favorite and i always look forward to it.
