Wow!! You can literally feel the tension in this chapter! Everything seems to be coming to a head this point and I really don't know who will be coming out of this mess alive or if any of their relationsips will be the same again. I know that Trowa feels that he has to protect Quatre at all costs, but when does this cycle end? You would think that in the situation that they were in that they would have stuck together, but instead it looks as though Gael did succeed in dividing them. Now, even if Heero and Wufei manage to get to Duo I wonder if Duo will come out of this alive or not. I know one thing I am tired of Duo being the one to get all the suffering from Gael and being his tool for punishment because Gael hates Duo so much because he wants Heero and he knows that Duo is the main reason why he can't ever have Duo. I often have wondered in this story why they didn't all just leave that city behind and just go some place else instead of putting up with Gael and all of the other shit that they have, but that is not for me to decide. Overall, this story has been a hell of a ride from start to finish with each chapter making me want to know what is going to happen next! Thanks so much for writing it and I am looking foward to reading the next chapter soon.

Ah! The tension! That's quite the cliffhanger. Nice work paralleling the series, by the way: I love Trowa's chameleon ability. What's going to happen?? You can't leave me hanging...

Oh. Oh...I think you broke me. I mean, I'm happy Trowa and Quatre are finally together, but it was so desperate, so bittersweet. I think you did a really wonderful job with the tone of this chapter: the tension was palpable. I loved the scenes with Quatre and Olean (she was a pretty great character...so much depth in so little time), and the way you ordered them was neat. You are a brilliant writer.

Oh! Update! I seriously could not love this story more. I'm very glad those three have finally got their relationship settled: definitely my favourite threesome pairing. As always, your writing draws me right in, and I really like how you can make the story emotional without having it get sappy. I'm looking forward to seeing Trowa and Quatre again...next chapter?

Another intriguing chapter...I really like this story! As of now, Quatre is my favourite character. I like reading stories where he's just as tough as the rest of the boys, and I'm certainly getting that he is...but without losing that spark of compassion that makes him Quatre. I'm also really enjoying Wu Fei's characterization, which is odd for me, since he's not one of my favourite characters. Can't wait to see what's going to happen next!

This is an amazing read - I'm just enjoying it so much! I really only come to MediaMiner for a few fics, this being one of them. I find this story original and creative with a wonderful insight into the characters. It's also very well-written, with a dark gritty edge that I find thrilling. I'm a lazy reviewer, but I had to leave a comment after your last chapter blew me away - you really dug into Heero and Fei's characters! Fei is also my favorite g-boy and you really do him justice in this story (no pun intended...) Anyway, good job and thanks for a great read :)

I really enjoyed reading this. The boys as hustlers in the city are well drawn and developed. Your writing style is smooth and easy. If I had one suggestion, it would be to speed up the plot. Much as I enjoy watching their relationships blossom gradually, I really feel like the boys are still in stasis, just hanging around talking and not really moving. All the same, I love this story and I'm really glad you wrote it.

Amazing stuff. It's always good to see Q with some backbone. Poor Trowa, though., I don't see much hope for him.
