This was a nice surprise to find on the site. I liked that you had a good gen fic, and I have to admit that I am a fan of Akari so I am glad to see a fic using her as a main character with her own strength. The writing style was very strong - there was one instance where you used the word "kneeled" instead of "kneeling" which I think would have worked better. I liked your characterizations of Touya, Akari and Tsutui. And the Game itself was excellent, I could almost hear the sound of the stones. I think that your ending is a little weak, I would like to see it fleshed out a bit more. Maybe add more to the scene with Akari and Hikaru. Or adding more about why Hikaru was absorbed into the board. Or even a revelation about who Sai actually is. Thank you for sharing this fic with us - I look forward to seeing more from you.
