That was amazing. I have never read a fan fiction that was so well-written. You managed to keep them in character so well! I am so surprised and thankful to have found this gem that I'm almost speechless. Shinji's emo hopelessness was sad, but it made the story feel authentic. Also, don't worry about 'tacking on' that lemon scene. It was BEAUTIFUL. I like to think of it as a gift to the audience for getting through all the depressingness and deep ideas. Another thing-- you are very articulate. Few writers give a crap about finding the right words to say what they mean, and I appreciate you actually incorporating your vocabulary into this. I know the urge to make this a pure smut thing must have been HUGE, and I truly admire you for taking the time to develop this into a work that the canon would be proud of (if it wasn't 100% likely to freak the creators out...) I appreciate this fic and I hope you appreciate me gushing about it, even if my head is still spinning and I'm probably just typing around in circles... YOU ROCK!!!!!

First off, is...is that an actual REVIEW? O.o "Righter?" Wtf? Anyway. "The calmly calculating, detached portion of his mind noted the irony of the situation. Where so many of his brethren had fallen to the bloody hand of that dark clone of Adam, here too the great Tabris falls at the hand of Ikari Shinji. The Beast had consumed him as well." ^Perhaps THE greatest line in all of Eva lemon-dom. Seriously, that line had me grinning for some reason... Overall, yes the sex was a jarring moment, but, surprisingly well done. I'm ambivalent toward sexuality in the real world anyway. And besides, while I hate yaoi and yuri anyway, this IS some degree canon. So I can dig it. It was mere chance that I caught this fic really. I was going to re-read Witness for the fourth time. What? I read it every so often...SILENCE! :P It was good, I actually liked it despite being one of my least favorite parts of the series (odd that, eh?). I dunno, the end of the series is kinda blah for me until the Instrumentality episodes and of course, episode 26. But your next work is yuri perhaps? One request. No Ritsuko and Maya. It's been done to death and Jack the Ripper has f'ed up the corpse. I'd rather see Hikari and Rei locking tongues than those two. And that's saying something from me. But overall, good work man. Far braver than I to write this. Though I may try my hand at it someday. Cheers. Talk to you later.

Holy shit! That was so well written! I didn't even think that episode 24 (i think) could be written as well as that, I couldn't believe that you expressed it so well in a story. You wrote it so well, adding your own touches through it. Congrautlations! Shadow Of Avalon
