Ah, I shouldn't have waited so long to review this since Saiyamaru stole my word "disturbing"! ; ) That'll teach me! But, as Saiyamaru also so eloquently stated, the story was well written even if the subject matter was not only disturbing but depressing. One could really feel the emotion emanating from Ryou. He was devestated by his loss... his other half gone for good this time. I think I was disturbed the most by the fact that Bakura would egg his light on to commit suicide. Do I see Bakura's point why he'd want Ryou to take such drastic measures? Yes, of course. He didn't want to be separated from Ryou either. Was it selfish? Oh, definitely. Ryou was in that mourning period that is so very critical - where people tend to take rash action - for better or for worse. Did Ryou need that extra nudge? Perhaps not. I especially liked Bakura's addition to the note left behind for Yugi to eyeball. It was written in true Bakura-fashion, slanderous and yet heartfelt all at the same time... Yep, it's years and years of therapy for the shrimp...

Wow, that was disturbing (I mean that in the best way possible). I thought it was interesting how Bakura was always hovering around Ryou, And you're right, this is depressing. I could feel the loss Ryou felt. I have mixed feelings about this story, but it can't be denied that it was well written, and that some twisted part of me found this entertaining. It really helped that it had a mostly happy-ending, even if it was kind of unconventional. Poor Yugi, he's probably going to need therapy for the rest of his life after walking in on that... but at the same time, I think he's all (or most) the better because of the message from Atemu.

I love this one... my favourite so far... go Bakura x Ryou! this fic was soo sweet and very well detailed... It actually felt like I was reading about someone committing suicide... like real... it's hard to explain... but I've read super crappy suicide fic's... and this sure as hell wasn't one of them. (The ending was my favourite part... and the kiss... and and... all of it was favourite part... ^^)

Poor ryou, he missed Bakura too much to keep on living without him. I feel bad for Yugi that he found him but at least Bakura sent him a message. Good story.
