fpr a first time on-shot, that was really good. i couldn't tell that it was ur time. i've never read a fic that really focused on that one moment. and u did it so well, and made it flow. it was a sweet story. makes me wish i could sees a picture of that scene with inuyasha holding kagome while she nurses their pup. beautiful

Beautifully done. Your imagery of the maternally exhausted Kagome and the bemused Inuyasha conveyed both the "labor" of birth and the awe that every parent feels when seeing their child for the first time. I have to go read it again.

Quill, this is a work of art. Though this is our beloved hanyou and miko, you have captured the emotions around a 'first birth' very lovingly and artfully. As usual you are an "a plus" writer quillwing. I love the oneshot, very sweet and to the point. I like how it tells your how men might actually feel after the birth of their first child.
