Quill, this is a work of art. Though this is our beloved hanyou and miko, you have captured the emotions around a 'first birth' very lovingly and artfully. If I could write as well as you do, I might be able to convey just how lovely this piece is. Alas, I am just a hack so suffice it say, 'been there done that', and damn but you made me relive it... almost makes me want to do it again... almost... MKT

As usual you are an "a plus" writer quillwing. I love the oneshot, very sweet and to the point. I like how it tells your how men might actually feel after the birth of their first child. I hope that you'll continue to write such amazing fics, as a talent like yours should never be wasted. Update waiting on a wish and sachi as soon as you can. HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful. Quite emotional and still in character for my favorite couple. I liked the details about Inuyasha's feelings and how you wrote everything from his perspective. I enjoyed this very much. :)

Very, very sweet. Not maudlin, saccharine-type sweet, but just a lovely look at a situation every parent experiences and remembers. You get inside a characters' mind as beautifully in this piece of writing as in your other ones. Kudos!

I liked this fic. I was wondering if you could do something with Sesshoumaru? Being that he never really shows any emoyions on the outside. What would it be like to see what he's thinking on the inside? Maybe about Rin or a child of his own. He doesn't have to a mate, but you can do what you wnat. The reason I asked is because you did very well with Inuyasha.

*sighs* That was...beautiful. You already know I love your writing style, so I won't say anything about that. How wonderfully unique and fresh this was! I think, as a one-shot, this is poignantly striking in the amount of emotion it contains -and all from just one character's POV.
