This is charming *and* hot, an unusual combination. Good as a stand-alone but together with 'Craving' it makes a poignant little storyline. Very nicely written, subtle, good characterization. More, please ???

Did I mention that I love a sexy, take-charge Aya? Also a befuddled, sex-stupid Yoji. Oh, and sex! Really, really good sex. Thanks for that - loosened up some of the tension in my shoulders and upper back! Lots to like in this story; for instance, I love that Yoji is proud of Aya's deadliness. I liked the smothering in inevitability line, and the kissing being so much better than breathing. Indeed. Also the line about Yoji responding to the deepeing of Aya's voice - I must tell you that I've flirted with that line before but never got it to do just what I wanted it to. Very nice. Also Aya being pacified by Yoji's evident desperation. And all that saying no getting Aya a bit worked up - yeah, me too.

Hurray for the sequel! I loved the description of Aya as moves like Abyssinian to lose his date; Yohji's understandable fear upon being discovered; Yohji's difficulty in controlling mouth or mind (so like real life); and best of all, what happened upon their return to the Koneko. Beautifully done!
