this was a really good fic i commend you o cooseing my favortie pairing...there are nowhere near enough Seph/Vin out there...i hope youcontinue with witing i will be looking forward to future fics from you

I'd have to say while the idea of Seph/Vincent didn't appeal to me at first, I really enjoyed this story. I loved the interaction between the characters by the end of it. Are there any plans for a sequel? I think it would be interesting/hilarious to see Sephiroth having to deal with school and waiting 2 years before Vincent will do anything with him. Not to mention Cloud's reaction. The story begs to be told, so please? ^_^

I have a question. How well did you research your facts? I did indeed do my research. I own and have actually played the game. I own Advent Children. I have read the entire script for Dirge, and have perused a great number of websites that specialize in FFVII and some on Vincent in particular. Then there s Wikipedia. I may be a rookie in writing Final Fantasy fanfics (in fact I m writing one with Vincent in it, called Immortality), but I did my research! Vincent s eyes ARE naturally red! His father has/had the same eyes! Meaning there were red before he was experimented on! I ve even seen official pictures! (from Dirge of Cerberus) Human beings do not have red eyes. No animal does. Albinos come the closest with pink, but true red is not a natural color. If Vincent was truly 100% human at the beginning of the game, his eyes would have been brown. Vincent as Turk from the movie Meteor Fall Crisis â€" brown eyes. http://www.geocities.com/mistressvickimon/ffvii/vincent03.jpg Vincent s eyes are red in Dirge. http://vincent-valentine.com/gallery/gamescenes/ingame_%20(46).jpg My assumption was that Dirge has them red rather than brown so that you know who he is right away. Poetic license on their part. Also, what version of Chaos did you use? There is two different versions of Vincent s chaos-form! The FFVII version and the Dirge of Cerberus version! (The Dirge of Cerberus version looks like Vincent with demonic-features) Vincent has far more than two Chaos-based forms in just the FFVII game alone. Galian Beast Death Gigas Hellmasker Chaos I based the beast form I used on Chaos â€" from the FFVII game. http://www.eternal-legend.com/ffvii/limits/shots/chaos.jpg However, Galian beast could be used as well. He s shown as purple, but purple is very typically used in animations, animes, and comics as being a replacement for the color black, Batman, for example. His ethereal form comes straight out of Advent Children. Vincent in his human-form does not, I repeat Does Not, have fangs! I disagree. All of his Chaos forms show him with fangs. Why would he bother hiding his mouth in his human form if he did not have them in his human form too? According to the rabid fans I spoke with over at FF.net, AFF.net, and two other FFVII story post LJs, Vincent having fangs in his human form was perfectly acceptable to them. You re more than welcome to disagree with me. Call it poetic license if you like. You see him your way, I see him mine. Other than what I ranted about, the story was nicely done and enjoyable to read! Thank you! I enjoyed writing it.
