Hooray! You updated quickly! As for your characterization of Inuyasha and Kagome, I think you're doing a good job mixing their own personalities with that of Jane and Mr. Rochester--mind you, it's been a LONG time since I've read Jane Eyre (I'm going to have to re-read it)--but so far it seems fine to me. Now, let's get to that picnic--can't wait to see what Kagome's reaction will be. :-)

Good chapter. The last one WAS depressing. However, I'm glad to see that the plot seems to be unfolding now. I can wait until Inuyasha and Kagome finally speak to each other next time. Please update soon!

Nice story you got here. I like alot, well the Sango dying part took me off guard there, I mean I knew the baby was going to die but Sango? Damn, that was strong and most of all it was unexpected, I like that. So hopefully you'll update again so everyone can read what will happen next. Peace.

It's "Jane Eyre," darling. By the fantastic Charlotte Bronte. I knew it almost immediately. Of course, I have read the book five times, so I would hope that I did. It's the romance reader in me, I'm afraid to say, lol. I was a little wary about the fact that Kagome's mother was a hanyou, but I can understand why you simply had to go that route, in order to place her in a situation similar to Miss Eyre and still incorporated the idea of her having spiritual powers. I do hope Inuyasha is as mean and grumpy (yet soft hearted) as our dear Mr. Rochester. And I am excited to see if you have Kikyou as the mystery in the attic (I won't say more because it might spoil it for those without our literary taste). However, I really hope you do so. It's just such a perfect love triangle scenario (and Inuyasha, Kikyou, and Kagome are the definition of a love triangle). I once saw someone do a Inu/Kag take on "Pride and Prejudice" but, out of the two great classic love stories, I think this is a better choice for Inuyasha and Kagome. So bravo! And I loved how Miroku was the 'doctor.' Can't wait to see how the story progresses. And I promise to try to overlook the hanyou mother issue (it's just not my cup of tea, lol). However, I'm sure that you will manage to incorporate it in an believable manner without making Kagome so out of character that the story with become ridiculous (as so many fan-fic authors do). Anyway, sorry for the long review. I was just so excited over your choice for fic adaptation! Lol.
