"What's comfortable doesn't equal ultimate happiness, Kagome," he finally whispered, his lips so close to her ear she could feel them move. "I could have been happy enough with comfortable, it's true…I was content with comfortable, in fact. But then I learned that there is a lot more to life, and that's the end of it." This story was really good... i was smiling almost the whole time through... it made me feel sad but overall I had a great time reading it... It was wonderful... great job!!!

this is one of those stories that has just the right amount of angst and the right about of resolve. i love it. i just am in love with this. at each new paragraph i learned to love it more. by the end, i felt like weeping myself. you can feel the pain in each word, you can feel it. very talented writing. you should be very proud of yourself.
