I like this story, it's original and enjoyable. I want to see how the full moon situation goes, I am curious to see why Kikyo is so funny around Inuyasha?

About komarus comment: But the idea of a 15-year old girl falling down a magic well and being brought 500 years to the past and start a quest with a 200 year old hanyou who she loves and who loves her but who's also smitten with his dead and reanimated exfiancé, now driven by dead souls, although everyone's fighting the ulimate evil named Naraku so everything's PJ- that's a believeable scenario? Not saying you're wrong, but perhaps another point of view would make you see what other see. Like I for one. Kagome has a deep sense of duty, that much is clear. That in combination with a lot of other things is what makes her accept to be a nigousan. Kikyo chooses her because then she'll know her "rival" and have an ally in Kagome's mother should trouble occur, plus the fact that she's hoping Inuyasha'll see herself in Kagome, since they resemble each other. As her aunt, Kikyo also will have a double high posture over Kagome when otherwise she'd just have one as being the wife. Inuyasha accepts it because that's what Kikyo wants and he loves - loves- his wife. He does not of yet care much for Kagome, not deep emotions at least. And they all have to do it because of the laws. However... what happens when the demon side of Inuyasha wants to bind HIS woman to his lifespan? Just because the human won't bind his, doesn't mean he can't, right? They should be equal since they both respect one another inside hanyou Inuyasha. I'm glad you revised anyhow, and reason to re-read this pearl is welcome!

No. It totally doesn't make sense, you expect the reader to believe a modern dat girl(even from a traditional family) would submit to this- for an aunt she clearly doesn't like and who doesn't like her. Inuyasha doesn't seem to think it awkward at all either- I mean come on. Here are the situations in whic I'd be willing to suspend my believe that a situation like this could occur: 1. Feudal Japan or an AU where there was a very stringent cast system- where for Kagome this would be a positive (socially) step- like since she'll be cared for she won't starve to death- or it's this or be forced into prostitution. 2. Some other socila stucture where otherwise Kagome would live at lessder status 3. A situation where Kagome and Kikyou are very close (at least at first) where they would do anything for the other- you'd have to make Kikyou more sympathetic and her reason for not accepting Inyasha's demon half couldn't be as lame as cause it's icky. I can see the possiblities of the scenerio- angsty and dramatic but the set up as written is just preposterous

i really like your story. I have to agree with several reviews i've read. i think kikyo should die too..i mean damn... inuyasha is sexy as hell... the claws, fangs, not to mention ears and bod. she's insane to not want all that. sorry.. i'm ok now.. i think our inu-chan (tee hee) is making the biggest sacrifice. he's like.. he can only make love to his wife once a month? and taking a mistress so he won't make her uncomfrtable. anyway.. i want more lemony inu/kag :-D i guess i feel a little sorry for kinkyho.. sorry... kikyo...but if she couldn't deal with the fact he's a half demon she should have ended it before they got too serious. Also it's not fair our kag on;y gets one night when she chose that. anyway..enough of my rambling. please update :-D

This story is really starting to get intrigueing. I feel kinda sorry for Kagome. It almost seems like Kikyou is Trying to get her killed. I hope that you go into more detail about the whys, wherefores, and history of nigousans as well as how Kagome feels and reacts to this completely different culture. Also, I hope that one of your chapters deals with Kikyou interacting the morning after a full moon. Thanks for sharing with us! Caitriona

What an interesting concept - that if the wife wouldn't accept the hanyou or youkai side of a hanyou they would have to take a mistress. I like it and it has a lot of possibilities. I agree with Kagome's thought that Inuyasha was giving up far more than Kikyou in this situation. But I don't understand how the other Higurashi's could agree to it. I guess it is a part of their culture that hasn't been brought out yet. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Caitriona

I'm so glad i found this story! i absolutely adore Kagome in this story, and feel so bad for her birth control problems(i have the same problem, only it lasts a LOT longer). Kikyou upsets me...i dont understand why she wouldn't accept him if she's so jealous. Poor Inu, can't have kids, that is just horrible. I suppose i can understand the rule about that, but it's still sad. Great story, amazing plot, the characters are very well written! Sheena ^.^
