W.O.W! Love it! Its very poignant and wrenches your heartstrings...Being a fan of unconventional and/or alternate endings, I've always wondered how the series would play out, without the usual "happily ever after". When I read your one-shot, I wondered, what if the ending turned out exactly like this, but instead of Inuyasha being a figment of Kagome's imagination, just what if the whole thing turned out to be the effect of the Shikon? After all, the Shikon seems to screw up all wishes, so it makes sense that even a pure wish, such as wishing it out of existence, would erase everything out of existence! But regardless of my fantasies, your one-shot is amazing! :)

I've always wondered if anyone would ever address the idea that Kagome fell down the well and had a concussion. I think you've put into words that idea beautifully. It leaves me pondering, and as a reader it gave me the chills. Or as I've read from other reviewers - whoa... Still whoaing here. Maeve P.S. Besides a minor spelling typo,(this is why it's a 9, cause you'd get a 10 & I know your work), its easily a 10, except for minor punctuation errors.

I hoped onto your profile after I read the latest chapter to Shades of Gray (looking for a homepage), but I got sidetracked by the snippet of an Idea, was kind of excatly like this,except that Kagome woke from a... instead of waking up at the bottom of the well. Did your idea change? Or are you still running with the idea. I hope you are, cause I've always pondered the very same thing. How would a person deal with something like that. Wake up and realize the person you love the most in the world was a dream. How sad. So I hope you run with this idea some more.

Awesome little oneshot! When I first started watching the anime, I asked my friend, who got me to watch it, if Kagome's going to the past was just a dream. And do you know if Inuyasha the anime is over? Because I've read some stuff online and a lot of people are saying that it is. Anyway, this oneshot was really good!
