Feels unfinished. I think you have a great premise, but I would like you to expand the thing. I want to know more. The fact that he kills off Kagome is too predictable. Does he try to kill her, but her spiritual powers undo the spell? What does Light do then to someone he CAN'T kill? Does Inuyasha come to Kagome's aid for some reason? Does she help L? Can they all defeat Light and how? How can Inuyasha defeat Light without getting killed himself? Does he somehow get a hold of the Tenseiga? What is Light's and Ryuk's reaction to finding out about a powerful priestess who can repel their attacks? Does Ryuk get fed up with Light and betray him or do something else to Light? After all, he has no real attachment to Light. He's only in it for himself. You could do so much more with this. Write it down! You're doing so good so far. You have the tension down so go for it! You write well. I'm only giving you a low enjoyment factor because I like it, but you need to flesh it out more.
