I read Twilight as well but I'll just review this one though both were amazing! You have done it yet again, and I admit I seem to be hooked on your work! An excellent job and once again quite and original feel too it! I love it!!!

One of the many things I like about your writing is in the things not said and not explained. It makes the worlds real. In this, for example, there is a reference to InuYasha made by Sesshoumaru and even though it's only a passing sentence I believed that there is a whole story there, relevant to this one in a critical way. The really interesting thing is that it's not necessary to tell it. It's enough that we know it mattered to him and that is the point of the reference. To me, that is the most touching part of the story. It is the hinge that opens the door through which Shiori walks at the end. I've tried in many other reviews to say this but this is the first time I've been able to say, "That's it! That's the thing I was trying to say." I hope I make at least a little sense.

This is the third time reading this continuation one-shot and I still cry over it. You could easily make another final segment to this mini drama and it would make prefect since to the former stories. I've been a fan of your work for a while and you have yet to disappoint in your style and character development. Bravo on this piece, you did an excellent job.

the ending totally took me by suprise. though dark, this fic was all about the love. the battle between human and demon inside of shiori was my favorite. and sesshomaru being 'brought down' because of his desires, that was great. the life you had shiori lead was perfect for her and that he watched over her because rin asked him to sounds like an excuse to me. ^ ^ lol well, i'm sure she did ask, but maybe he used it as his reason, conveniently. beautiful ficlet. perhaps you will get the urge to write one more chap to this. *crosses fingers and toes* take care
