I absolutely love your stories, and how they're so bittersweet. :D

Reviewed By: sglily [MediaMiner Member] On: March 29, 2007 19:53 CDT Comment/Review: I definitely felt Ryou's apprehension when of all people, Bakura shows up in his room through unconventional means. Bakura, yep... the one person Ryou didn't want to see or to deal with. And, Bakura in his infinite wisdom was confrontational throughout most of the conversation with his light. The most profound part of their whole encounter was when Bakura made Ryou say "it" to his face. Let's hope it was indeed a "Happily ever after" ending...

For someone who thought he didn't matter, someone who wouldn't be missed if he were gone, someone who had no friends, Ryou sure had a lot of morale support show up at the hospital on such short notice. He even tried to make excuses! - The flowers and cards left for him on the nightstand were bought last minute... they were bought not as an afterthought and I doubt out of obligation but because his friends cared. Being the emotional wreck that Ryou was, I can appreciate and understand why he would want to be left alone in his room. I liked that Bakura didn't hang around the hospital and actually brooded at home. Confrontation time! Good job!

Comment/Review: If I could've put an '100' on the enjoyment factor, I would've! I love this story like I love hot brownies with ice cream! (which is a lot, mind you) PLEASE UPDATE SOON! I can hardly stand the suspense! But that what keeps me reading I suppose. I also admire your use of word choice and grammar. VERY well put together! A must read for any Bakura fan (Yami or Ryou Bakura, that is)! I also love angst (I know, by my hyper state, most people are shocked by that fact, but it's true). I love angst! I love sappy romance. ...Okay, not sappy romance in a story, but in real life, I'm a sucker for cheesy romance. Update soon! I'll be waiting!!!

Reviewed By: Saiyamaru-nli On: March 23, 2007 22:10 CDT Comment/Review: I love how you capture the tension, it's so intense that it feels like something is going to, must even, Give. I'm not a fan of angst and I doubt I ever will be, but you make it work for you. You amaze me, really you do. I have read many "Bakura hates Ryou, Ryou tries/succeeds committing suicide, Bakura suddenly discovers he loves Ryou" fics. They all sound the same to me, and I thought that it would've been safe to say that I would never bother finishing one, let alone reviewing it. And here I am, reviewing and waiting for the next chapter. You have a talent of making the characters real to the reader, with feelings and awareness. The difference between this story and every other Suicide!Ryou cliché is that the characters aren't two dimensional. They have real actions and responses to what is happening around them, I almost feel like I am there, I certainly am able to empathize with what they are feeling. Great job.

Reviewed By: sglily [MediaMiner Member] On: March 21, 2007 15:00 CDT Comment/Review: This is well written as all your stories are. It was also very sad, very difficult to read. It must feel so scary and disheartening, a feeling that is worse than "just" being alone, to be that close to someone that Ryou secretly admires and loves, living with them, and thinking that that person would never in a million years return those feelings. Bakura's take on the whole matter concerning Ryou was rather interesting - starting off with the "typical" dark hates light for being weak and pathetic line of reasoning. Bakura's emotions took quite the swing in the other direction once he started reading Ryou's suicide note and came across his light's body. I'll be interested to see how the rest of your story plays out.

Title: Blood stained tiles is a fav. past time... Reviewed By: Yami_Bakura_Itemri [MediaMiner Member] On: March 12, 2007 07:00 CDT Comment/Review: wow... sounds very deep... ironically. But I love it. It's pretty close to something I wrote a long time ago but never really let anyone read it cause it was pretty graphic and.. yeah.. I have it hidden cause if my parents found it they'd be sending me off to the hospital reguardless. My dad even threatened to have me admitted cause he discovered cuts all over me. Nice caring family huh... I hope Ryou pulls though, Just like to see Bakura's reaction and all.
