Really liked the way you took a common concept (Kenshin or Kaoru as vampire) and made it feel perfectly fresh. The casting was terrific, even down to the Sano/Megumi interactions. The only thing lacking from that was Kaoru's jealousy of Megumi's maturity (not that it was missed, I'm just saying). Missed Yahiko though. Sampson was a nice touch and his reappearance as warm breezes was poetic. Good happily ever after ending. If I had a complaint, it would be a lack of passion. There are moments, like Iizuka's final fight, where there's passion, but otherwise Kenshin comes off a bit... bland. There's some over thinking followed by saying out loud what was overly thought about so that they can talk about the same thoughts. I think that slows the story down in places. I say this only because there ar efew things wrong with this story and I'm trying to help you improve with those later promised works. Otherwise, I think this is a masterful work!

I've read similar plots in RK fanfics. That being said, this runs with a vampire (?) theme, adds originality (Kaoru's disease) and runs with it. I am so thrilled to have stumbled onto such a great RKfic. This deserves praise, awards, and cookies for the author.

one believes that kenshin enjoys his anticipation a bit too much. BAD KENSHIN! ♠ with how active kaoru has always been she's probably already torn her hymen and now all that would need to be done is to have the passage stretched a bit. i don't think that stretching would cause damage unless he was hung like a horse, an average asian man's penis (he is quite small in stature but that really doesn't mean his package would be proportionate), compared to a caucasian or black man's penis is statistically smaller although there are always exceptions. see the following chart(remove spaces): average-penis-size-chart . com/african-caucasian-oriental . html ♠ amusing chapter ♥ a pleasure, ginny

then megu's cancer would still be there, or at least the damage it caused if the change freezes the body's condition? . . . interesting, are they going to drain izuka's blood and feed it to kaoru intravenously, after her change is complete they will introduce her to the powder and hiko will treat her to keep her from dying... thinking they don't want to expose kaoru to izuka. that is if she accepts and i don't think she would agree if it meant izuka's death. if she has all of katsura's blood does that make her better able to accept the second stage treatment? ~ delighted, ginny

i just really wanted to menstion that the last sentence was, to me, way too much foreshadowing.... its like putting icening on the cake, added with sugar, candies, gummy bear. etc. so yeah thats all i wanted to say, other than that it seems cool. this is for chapter two.

WOw. I am angry how no one seems to know about this story. It is REALLY good. YOu deserve more than 24. Especially when stupid stories with no sense have hundreds. Idiots. Any way. This story is just chalk full of emotion. It feels like im watching a soap opera kinda. But I do really love it. I can t wait for the next part. =D

What a refreshing K&K fic. Nice to read a kenshin/vampire flick w/o the gore! I hope Yahiko makes an appearance - it won't be the same w/o him and his 'busu's lol Keep up the good work :D

Hi I've read your Bio and I just want to say that you are a very good writer. I'm a MAJOR!!!!!!! fan fiction reader and when I come across a writer that I really like I cherish them like beautiful gems and I can honestly say you are one of them. I've so enjoyed reading this story, even if I've been Very Bad about leaving reviews. I love the character development, and Kaoru's father is just awesome. No one is going to hurt his little girl...even if that means hurting his little girl himself. Hmm. You've kept such a good pace, and each chapter leaves me all anxious and excited about what's going to happen next! It was so satisfying to see Kenshin and Kaoru stop dancing around one another and finally admit their feelings! However, Kenshin knows most of Kaoru's secrets...what's she going to do when she finally realizes that Kenshin's been keeping a whopper from her? ^_^ There have been hints, and Dr. Genzai's not-so-subtle flat-out telling her, but I'm so looking forward to that dawning realization. Nice, nice job!
