This is, overall, a pretty good fanfiction. There are some minor story flow issues, but you seem to have a good grip on the feel of the Halo universe. You've got plenty of action, but a little more focus on character diversity and development would greatly help out you style and enjoyment scores. I encourage you to continue working on this. It's a fine start.
