i know this is a realllllly late message seeing as how 5 years have passed. However, if it's at all possible please come back and update soon! It's a wonderful story and I'm sure a lot of us would love to see it finished. Ah, so many things to say and so little space. Firstly, thank you for writing such a magnificent story. It really is hard to find a WELL written Sess/Kag story. Secondly, love the plot. It has been done before, but hell, when a series and a couple are this popular, it happens often. I did like that you gave it your own little twist, though. Kagome being an alcoholic and whatnot. Lastly for now, why the hell have you not updated? I don't mean to be harsh but how dare you!! To leave such a masterfully crafted piece of art is criminal! It makes me so sad to see this happen, because a lot of the stories I find that are even WORTH reading are left unfinished! What is happening?! Are all the talented writers in fandom getting whacked or something? Are you dying? Please, leave me some kind of reply, explaining why you have decided to abandon this magnificent fiction. Very good story. I feel sorry for Sesshomaru. I hope you update soon as it will be interesting to see how you get Kagome to choose Sesshomaru without causing too much heartache for Inuyasha.

Oops it looks like Sesshomaru is assuming something because Kagome mentioned Inuyasha in her dream. That was sweet of Sesshomaru to fix up her apartment like that and I hope they do get back together again soon as he has been so nice to her and helped her heal. Looking forward to your next update. Most excellent! I love it when I got fic hunting and find the good ones - and I certainly did this time as well. ;) Such a predicament Sess has got himself into now, isn't it. Shame Inu didn't go looking a bit sooner tho. Now what will they both do. Hmm... heh, maybe they can share? Great story thus far, I read it all in one sitting, hehe... Update when ya can! I LOVE THIS STORY!!!! I love how you made Kagome into a suffering sould, and how she thinks Inuyasha is dead; even though he is really alive. It is great how she acts so differently in this story than in all the other stories I have read. So dramatic. I love the end of the last chapter you wrote; how Sesshomaru finally gives Kagome up, and it is killing him. Anyway keep up the good work. Please update soon. I am dying to read t the rest of this story!!!!!!

I'm going to be really, really sad if you don't ever finish this. *sob* I've read the whole thing twice! You can't just leave it here! And while I think Sess was definitely out of line not telling her about Inuyasha before he put the moves on her (or maybe allowed her to put the moves on him, eh?), Inuyasha also has it coming for sending her away in the first place and then--and THEN!--not even being there to find her when she obviously needed him so badly. And what the hell is up with the pot-smoking? I suppose that could be part of the changes in him over the last 500 years that lead Kagome to realize that he's not the boy she loved before...if she ever gets to have that realization! I know I'm not the only one hanging in the lurch here, so for the sake of your peanut gallery, I hope you do continue! Great story so far!
