I think your style is really wonderful. Particularly, the way you portray a man's emotions and thoughts really hook me in. I absolutely love reading these, because they truly make me laugh out loud. The comedy is blended seamlessly with the eroticism (which I also enjoy ::winkwinknudgenudge::). The only reason why you didn't get a 10 from me for "Originality/Creativity" was that romance and sex isn't very original, but the way you present it is. Keep up the terrific work. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates your writing. --Cyndi

Reviewed By: Jen (NSI) On: July 09, 2007 19:49 EDT Comment/Review: This is the chapter that you weren't happy with? I liked it. And it seems that most everyone else did, too. So see what you know? I liked the emotional father thing and then, of course, you have to have the obligatory baby spits out their food scene. I liked it (of course, I somehow knew that Kagome was using sex to get babysitting out of Inuyasha). Great chap, Ax!

Suffice it to say, I liked it very much and wowie on the whole emotional father thing! You never really see first person tales in Inuyasha's perspective, where he can admit (at least to himself) how much he loves & needs her. Even in his thoughts, he is usually held back - well at least among those that I've read. I could very well be making an ass out of myself by declaring that there are none. Anyway, Inuyasha watches himself, uh... during retreat - Holy Crap that was amazingly descriptive - Absolutely loved his thought process, even if he pulled the typical cop out line "I like to watch". Damn, just... damn. I enjoyed the hell out of that!

Reviewed By: Sassa [MediaMiner Member] On: July 09, 2007 08:49 EDT Comment/Review: The mix between happiness and pain and fear Inuyasha felt during Kai's birth was the most emotional and beautiful scene I've red in quite a while. I really like the way he express himself in his inner monologues too; that blunt and raw language covering so many deep emotions. I also like how you toy with the conflicts occuring between Inuyasha's perspectiv on manliness, dog yokai insticts and his love for Kagome, that is just beautiful. I do wonder what Kagome used to knock him out: I could use that to get the upper hand of my boyfriend... but I guess that wouldn't do well on a human. Too bad. You are by far the best I've seen in writing believeable from Inuyasha's point of view concerning language, line of thoughts and perspective. Amazing. I love it!

Reviewed By: Sassa, too lazy to log in On: May 27, 2007 14:50 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Day-to-day angst everyone has. Typical communication problems here. Inuyasha fail to see the problem, only the symptoms. Kagome fails to admit her fears, deeming them silly to begin with and then they are given time to fester into a wound and thus harder to talk about. Mistakes everyone does. Mistakes bound to happen. But therefore also so painful, so cruel. And the awareness of aging, of lacking what once was...the insecurety that comes with that... You present the situation and refrain from a Cinderella-end unlike so many. That I like. The symptoms are partly cured but the problems are still there. Inuyasha will have a hard time proving his love without as much sex. Kagome will feel insecure about a lot. And that's why I love it: because that's how it is in life. I love it so much and I thank you for publishing it! Also liked your revising of chapter one, by the way! Keep it up at a comfortable pace, and I'll be reading you!

Reviewed By: Jen (never) On: May 27, 2007 13:44 EDT Comment/Review: Go Ax! So you took a break from killer schoolwork to write us all some yummy lemmony I/K godness? I loved it! Of course you know I'm the Ax fangirl (or is that cheerleader? I forget.) It was awesome like always. Good to see that you're having fun with the actual fanfic side and not just your originals (but *ahem* I do still want updates on the originals) :) Now if only the people that reviewed this would go and read and review your originals...

Reviewed By: Sassa [MediaMiner Member] On: May 14, 2007 11:42 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: This is a beauty lemon-wise, but above all I love the way you let Inuyasha translate his emotions through his actions. Many men do that; they say the words, but above all it's the actions that speak for them. And it's very much so in Inuyasha's case, both in the manga and the anime. And I understand his worry. If everything has gone flawless until now, then he suddenly gets rejected... I'd be worried too. I must say he was brave to go on with his plans anyway, hoping he could fix it. That's indeed an act of love: to refuse to succumb to his worries and instead do all in his might to set things right again by showing his love in all kinds possible, since he lack the words. By the Goddess, the more I think of it, the more touched I get! The reminicing part was absolutely fabulous too, when Inuyasha thinks back on the wedding. I... I'm in awe. Thank you for sharing this.
