The only problem is this- When Usagi is talking to the lawyer, she says "arigatou". However, she should have said "arigatou gozaimashita", because it is more polite. She is talking to a person in a respected position. Unless they are very close friends, she must use polite language when speaking to him.
arigatou gozaimashita- thank you (polite) in the past tense, thanks for an action that is completed.
arigatou gozaimasu- thank you (polite) present tense.
doumo arigatou gozaimasu- thank you (even more polite)
Best of luck with any other writing you do. This was great. |
