A pairing of Kagura and Miroku is interesting, to say the least. The Kikyou/Koaga side story has a nice balance to it, although I'm having a hard time picturing enjoyable sex for a sensitively-nosed creature when she smells of graveyard earth, not to mention flesh that is in fact clay... One thing that is impressive is the attention you are giving to each character's feelings and motivations. It is refreshing. I am also glad to see you've taken this up again, since you started it back in 2007 and we are at the end of 2009... I hope you mean to continue!

I don't object to non-canon pairings, but when the canon aspects are so well done I simply regret the deviations and resulting angst. In this case, both Sango and Miroku must suffer more loss than necessary. Ah well, it is your story and you should go with it in whatever direction you wish. Also, I didn't mean to discourage all inclusion of Buddhist texts; I just think you've gone a bit overboard. Still, I didn't want you think I'm not enjoying this story tremendously. Just trying to offer constructive critique...

I do think the inclusion of Buddhist literature is a little heavy-handed - it slows the reader down. Although some of it is certainly helpful in providing context and tone, it upsets the pacing and tempts the reader to skip. The characterization is wonderful. Not sure where you are going with Sango dying and Sesshomorou's admiration of her, except perhaps a resurrection and claiming of her by him to free Miroku up for a matchup with Kagura? If that is the case, it seems a bit contrived and unfortunate given the real connection between Miroku and Sango. Of course, my suspicions could be all wrong and you have something totally different in mind. I like most of your original characters, but the uncle is a bit overdrawn. Still, this is one of the best written and most interesting fanfics I've come across in a long time. Thank you!

I know from experience how frustrating it can be if your efforts are not duly appreciated. Like i said earlier your story is rather good much beter than some of the trash I've read. Keep up the good work ~~~Briana

How has an excellent fic like this not received even one review? I am really astounded. Though your pairings are not very common or popular, the story itself is quite unique and interesting. Awaiting your next chapter post.
