You have a good start going. I like Anrui even if he is quite cowardly, then again I could see that given all the prejedice in his past. I can't wait to see how it workes out with bringing Anrui back to his father, but perhaps the guard could travel with them for a while. I didn't catch any major gramatical errors or anything like that, and you have good formating. Though it is a bit confusing at times all the POV changes but thats ok.
