I find that the main reason why many Death Note one-shots fail is because it is really difficult to do the actual dialogue of the manga justice. You, however, kept it simple and that made it hot without distracting me with things that I was finding "wrong" Well done. One of the best Death Note yaoi fics I've read.

wow -fanns face- thats the first yaoi fanfic i've read, and I very much enjoyed it. fantabulous!! not that i haven't sneaked a peak at some June's and Yaoi's in manga form... -blushes- is L really that...never mind, anyway, as i said, awsome!

OMGYESSSSSSSS BEST DEATH NOTE ONESHOT EVER!!! I really wish I could leave you a wonderfully coherent comment but god that was dfjaklfjldk fjdskajfkla HOT! And not only was it hot it was freaking brilliant. *melts* And soon, you'll know that there is a power over you, and it comes straight from your own mind. Fucking awesome, seriously. *is dead*

Don't know how they got to that hotel room, don't care. That was incredibly hot. Holy crap. It was well written, but what really got me was the question you posed. What does a god want when he can have everything? That little theme really made this story even better.
