I'm not sure how you think you're using entropy, but stopping it would cause all matter to eventually vaporise. At least, I think that's what would happen. Entropy is the loss of energy through heat. Stopping it would cause that energy to remain in the molecular bonds, eventually degrading them and destroying them.
