Will Aoshi and Misao ever get together..or will someone get to the Weasel-Girl first? PLEASE COME BACK FROM HIATUS! TO MANY QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ANSWERED IN MY UNSETTLED MIND! I liked the fic. Hiatus...hmm...I guess I'll just be forced to wait. Although it is slow moving, I can relate. My own fics tend to move at a snails pace, but its all in the timing. You can't have everything happening at once. You time it well.
I'll admit, I'm creeped out by Kama! And I'm also weirded out by Hiko. *shrug* Especially regarding the dream.
My favorite part would have to be after the phone call with Jiya. Pochi is providing wonderful comic effect. The entire episode with Misao cooing to Pochi about having a barbaque was hilarious. Especially the "yes you wil, yes you will..."

I can't imagine Soujirou being that discombobulated and that he seemed frightened by Aoshi, then again I really haven't seen much of him since I haven't gotten that far in the Kenshin manga and that this is an AU story. Anyways, nice. |

Isn't that part more of an American or maybe European dream? I also thought the average amount of kids per family in Japan ranged from one to two kids, at least that's how it is on my mom's side of the family and her friends, who are Japanese.
I don't recall seeing any white picket fences either, more stone walls perhaps, in Japan. Then again maybe what you wrote was to help us readers who are most likely Americans, Europeans, Canadians and other English speaking people to identify with something.
Anyways, love the story.

When Aoshi told Sano to go to his room, I thought it was funny since normally the parent says stuff like that. I like your mix in these chapters, funny and yet not a comedy. Anyways, I'm going to continue reading.
BTW- you don't need to put an apostrophe in front of "nii-chan" because the "o" that is placed in front of some words at times is an honorary "o", meaning more polite. Also if you use "itai" again you can instead use "itte!" which is the younger generation's version of "itai" and is more "cool". The drawn out version (like in English someone might say "Owwwwwww/owowowow" instead of just "Ow") would be "ittetetete". Just letting you know.

OH. MY. GOSH! That was the scariest dream I've ever read! *shivers in fear* LOL. I'm in AP Psych now and am learning a bit so far. I don't like Freud much, but it's amusing about K. Horney, a neo-analyst, who came up with womb-envy in men to counter Freud's penis-envy in women. It was like she was saying, in my teacher's words "Up yours, Frued!" That was sooo funny and now I will remember who K. Horney was.
