Wonder how long until someone writes a story with the summary, "Heero loses Wufei in a card game..." But aside from that. :) I think what I liked most in this story is the lack of romance, and the sometimes-blunt way the guys (especially Heero) have of expressing themselves. Credible grey areas, especially for guys who usually aren't that good at communicating a complex feeling. Saying one thing, meaning another, and doing a third comes so natural here.

Wonderful! You've managed to give the story closure without cutting off all the potential for future continuation. There was something of a sweet element to it but it was tempered by the very realistic problems that come up in new relationships as well as the problems that the others have. I enjoyed this chapter. It feels both like a bridging-chapter and a setting-up. Good pacing in the action, good pacing in the recovery phase, and switches between them without the worst of the jarring.

Brilliant! I love your style and characterization. Not to mention the last chap had me smirking like hell. I wonder what Wu Fei's reaction will be, what would the others have to say. And God! but I can't wait for some nc-17 goodness of the 1x5x1 kind.*thinks back to Heero promising to bend over the table ...* Hehe, and last but not least - do I smell a conspiracy? Something tells me the Gundam Pilots are about to kick someone's ass and save the day once again. Full speed ahead my dear author and the rest be damned! :D

HAHAHAHA!!!! Oh, crap, that's not good. Well, this chapter had a lot going on in it. Especially in the case of a lot of mayhem at the end. I do warn ya, though, that such measures are not advised for future updates. ANyway, keep updating, and how will Wufei be angry at everyone else? Definitely somethig to look forward to. Ok that was interesting. I really thought you were going to blind Wufei there for a bit. I'm glad you didn't. Not that I'm complaining but what was with Trowa hitting on Wufei? Was he just trying to distract him or is there something else? He and Sharine were clearly sniffing where they weren't welcome but I'm not entirely certain that Heero and the guys helped any. I understand their need to strike at anyone who hurt one of their own but sometimes there is a thing called subtlety. Though if the mother wasn't home maybe she'll talk now... probably not. There are certainly a lot of crunchy plot bits in this for something you originally said would be a two or three shot! Definitely not complaining about that either! Actually, I bypassed an inbox full of fic to read this one first because I *had* to know who was in the room! (Insecurities is in the 'sooner' part of the list) Can't wait for more! A very interesting dance indeed. Read all the chapters together and want more. A vulnerable pilot gets me every time and your story mixes vulnerable and comedic very well.

((I need to appologize in advance for the length of this review. I've gotten in the habit of writing them as I read and this one kind of grew...)) I do feel rather bad for Wufei. He's got quite a bit to worry about as far as Heero's offer is concerned in addition to his worries regarding the eye surgery. I love the way Heero both distracts him and proves his intentions. And this line from that scene made me laugh "trying to remember if he'd washed his navel while showering." Because random thoughts like that do tend to cross one's mind at the oddest times. And Heero's little comment to Sally was priceless. And I can't help but wonder if Heero *does* know exactly how rumor can spread in the workplace. It might just make Wufei fed up enough to consider his offer. I really love the interaction between Wufei and Sharine. I wasn't sure what to think of her at first but now that she's not trying to 'get' Wu, I think I like her. The leads she brought up on the case they aren't supposed to be working on have me worried though. Something is very fishy there. I do think it is rather adorable that Heero is jealous of her, and Sally's reaction to them was priceless. But what *really* worries me is the person in the room with Wufei. I've got this sinking suspicion that it might have something to do with the case they were pulled off of... This could be bad. Thank you very much for writing! Still reading, still loving it! You may be forgiven for the late update, but not for the cliffhanger end. I hope this means that you're going to put out the next chapter soon, because I want to know who the person is. I mean, maybe it's Duo. Which would be really random. Possibly even more random than a bay guy trying to kill poor Wuffers. Now I'm going to be wondering about it all day. As always, great story in general, and excellent chapter in particular. Nooo...not a cliffhanger! Though I am really wondering who is there, because judging by who Wufei ruled out there is a high probablity it is a bad guy. Anyway I like this story, especially the adorable Wufei and Heero interaction, and I hope you get inspired for more soon.

This is proof positive that I don't check for updates nearly as much as I should. I sincerely hope that you will continue this, if only for the sake of poor Wufei whom you left hanging. i saw a question mark at the begining of this story. If you do not continue it in a part 2 i am going to be very sad. this is a beautiful story. I'm enjoying the way you have captured the character both of Wu Fei and Heero. and want to see more of how Chang deals with this new development.
