I loved this story! I read it twice right away. I couldn't get
enough. It was perfect "I will be lonely, nevermore." Absolutely

I loved this story! The Raven is my favourite poem ever, so it was fun to read a story with it :) You did such a good job explaining it, too! It's not an easy poem to work with, but you did great :) |

I really love this oneshot. It's wonderful that you picked that poem, and it's very unique that you compared it to Inuyasha. I agree with you on his termoil with Kikyou and Kagome. It wasn't a matter of who to choose, it was if he had a choice period. I also liked it toward the end when Inuyasha opened up to her, cause I'm not to fond of everyone assuming his an idiot. It's true that he's not be very social and brutally honest, but that's what happens when you grow up on your own. It was really wonderful, and I love works by EAP. By the way, have you every read Poe's piece Eleonora? 'Cause if you ever thought of doing something like this again, you could look at this story. I think that it describes Kikyou, Inuyasha and Kagome more than anything, and if you haven't read it you can see for yourself. |

I'm a Poe fan, so it's good to see the real deal used here. Funny, considering the role of the crow in the start of their adventure (as mentioned, of course.) Sweet and touching at the end.

I really loved this. Normally I ignore one-shots, but your topic was so intriguing that I decided that I wanted check it out. I'm very glad that I did. You include the poem with interruptions that very effectively break up the text of the poem so that the reader does not get too daunted by the length. Your scene interruptions also provide really good analysis and explanations which give the poem more of a purpose in the context of InuYasha. Overall, I think that you did an incredible job, and I will be looking for future work from you.

NO WAY this is like freaky deja vu!!!!!!! Just today my english teacher read this poem to us in class bad thing is this poem came with homework but its awesome i lllllluuuuuuvvvvvv it you should make a another story out of this or make another story based on a another poem. I love Edgar Allen Poe's work he makes terrific poems and for you to make a inukag one-shot out of it is amazing.

This was such a joy to read, the characters lent such insight to the origional poem, I loved the why you explained things throughout the reading. Nice ending, very tidy and exactly the way all us kagome/inuyasha shippers like to see things. Well done.

Wow! I really liked this story! As a fan of Inuyasha and Poe's works, I really enjoyed the mixture of the two. And how Inuyasha made his own ending to the poem at the end. Really wonderful job!

My favorite poem paired with my favorite couple. Is that even possible? I guess so. You did so well with this. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to say in this review. Words like wonderful and brilliant don't seem to measure up to what I think of this one-shot. Thank you for this.

I got so excited when I read the summary for this story and it definitely was worth stopping in and taking 15 minutes to read. It made me smile at all the right parts and I sighed [[awww LOL]] at the end. It was perfect! I always look forward to reading things from you and you didn't disappoint me. =]

This is SO awsome. I've loved that poem sense middle school, I espcially like to read it aloud (so many rymes). I got the super extra fluffy happy feelings at the end to. I think he was made to be romantic *super fluffy sigh*

What an amazingly well-written story!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE your use of "The Raven", I had to read it aloud, it's such a great poem. And the whole InuYasha/Kaou realization moment was just superb.

Okay, melting right down into a puddle of goo now after that ending. In most song/poem fics you can (and I almost always do)skip right over the song or poem part and just read the story without what is almost always an annoying interruption that disrupts the momentum of the story but you've done a really good job of integrating the poem with the story. Each part contributes to a greater understanding of the other.

Fun and fluffy piece. I like it. I like that Inu realized he was like the man in the poem. I also liked the raven showing up at the end. That made me laugh. The only thing I would have you change is the word prophet. You misspell it everywhere that it isn't in the poem. Thanks for sharing with us@!

*gasp* I loved it!! What a great explanation of what Inuyasha has to deal with in his choice between Kikyo and Kagome. Most people just dismiss Kikyo, but you actually looked at how Inuyasha was feeling and treated the situation honestly. Not to mention you chose a great poem that I also enjoy. :) Great job!
