Nice piece. In the earlier sections I wondered who this Catherine was and if you were going for Kagome or Rin or someone else. But by the end it was wonderful. You wove in the song well with the story. It was sweet without being overly fluffy. Thanks for sharing with us.

That was so sweet and sad...I almost cried. Still trying to blink back the tears now so I can see the keyboard. Good choice. This song was perfect for the mood and situation of your story. (Not sure if it's a one~shot or not. I could see it going either way but I have the feeling you are going to take it further. Otherwise you wouldn't have taken such care to layout the other details right?) As odd as this sounds, it never occured to me that Catherine may have been anyone other than Rin until I read the first review. But I stick by with what I thought. Kagura was a demon so that would just make everything a bit stickier...it would be easier to explain the whole not being reincarnated thing though. Anyway, I did like Inuyasha complaining about wanting italian food. I have always felt he would love italian food too. Nice to see I'm not alone. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for this story since my auto-updates haven't always been coming to my inbox....I suppose I should probably check up on your other stories too.

Wow, I really like this! But is it a one-shot or a full blown story because I'd really like to see if Sesshomaru can get this Catherine Ichiro girl to remember something. Also if shes Rin or Kagura's reincarnation. (though it sounds more like Rin's). Nice songfic! -Amber
