Much better. It would have been nice to see them go through some more struggles before being saved by Misato. Maybe having to survive through the harsh winter that was mentioned or something else along those lines. I'm uncertain of one thing though. The story is listed as completed, yet the last chapter (7) mentions another chapter (8). It's not clear if the story has ended or not.
