I am in love with your fic. I love your characterizations. Normally, I don't like AUs, but you write so well that the story is really believable.

Wonder how long it will take b/f K realizes these are far more than mere wild animals? The foundation has been laid, and she's a quick study, it should be interesting to see how she and IY interact, and how their bond develops. Loving this story.

*eagerly gobbles up newest scraps* kokoronagomu is quite right, if they had left things alone human/youkai relations would have improved on the island. Now things are just going to get worse. *sigh* I really hope that Inuyasha figures out that talking to Kagome might benefit their cause better then just giving orders and ignoring her. Then he might actually learn what is going on with the humans and what her role in all of it was. *returns to sitting on your doorstep waiting for more*

as long as kikyo is in power innocent lives will be lost. . . their actions have been counterproductive and self defeating. . . she should be trying to be diplomatic and attempt to negotiate a treaty as soon as the self pity gets old. . . one wonders how shippo will react to his new 'home' and if he will want to be with kagome. . . i'm still intrigued and eagerly anticipate more. ~ thank you, ginny

aside from the bumps on their heads the hostages weren't harmed. curious to see the inu-youkai reaction to kagome's and shippo's interactions, a mother to her son. it's bound to make an impression. too bad their kidnapping would set back youkai/human relations quite a bit until the princess is given back unharmed and kikyo is removed hopefully sooner than later. good descriptions and transitions. ~ thank you, ginny

Hmmm, and the adventure begins! Will be interesting watching this relationship develop, what with all the history and animosity going on. Watching the taijiya and youkai come together will be a treat as well. I look forward to it.

I really can't figure out why this story has so few hits. It's well written, it's detailed, it's original, and it was updated quickly. So why aren't more people visiting? The only thing I can see is perhaps because the summary doesn't list the pairing that people might be steering clear. Pity. They don't know what they are missing.

what a wonderfully exciting story! i love the rich detail, the interactions, everything! one wonders if kikyo will ever 'see the light' or will she be deported, executed? one can consider that the atrocities that she was responsible for incited the native populous to act against kagome. ~ a pleasure, ginny

There is just something about a good bodice ripper, which the setting of this reminds me of. Can't wait to see how Kagome takes to Inuyasha. *smirk* Since she now knows he was in on it, putting them in a cage together could have some very interesting results. Now on to the less enjoyable part... Kikyou must meet a very untimely end! Sewing Ayame's lips closed, that was... I would have been utterly disgusted if I didn't have a cast iron stomach, now I'm just pissed. Gah!

Very busy chapter! Love that K got Jinenji out, and save Shippou. But poor Ayame! Kikyo is indeed cruel here. So, IY has K now, will be interestin to see how she responds, and how he treats her. How long will it take for them to fall in love, and how much aggrivation and angst is in store? Very nicely done, looking forward to more!
