Like most of these, I always want to read more. How Xander & Cordy would have adapted and adjusted to each other and their changed circumstances. But, I kinda doubt that there will be a continuation here. In any case, this was a thoroughly good read. Which is all any of us can hope to produce in the end. Nice work! T

Much like your GSG/BtVS offering, this is an excellent offering. I am completely unfamiliar with Max Payne, but from what I saw in the GSG mix, you likely got the characters right. As before, you have good fit and finish (not unlike a H&K), and all that really remains is to put in the trigger time. This fic has the same stylistic issue as the other, in that the speech patterns come off as just a *little* stiff and mechanical. Same as the other for what should or could be done about it. Transitions are still good, pacing is fairly balanced, and the technical proficiency of the fic is good. With practice, you should be able to turn out some first-rate work. Good job.
