The cell scene was well done, down to earth and very realistic. It fit the setting and the pacing; prison sex just isn't all that romantic, and trying to make it that way would've just flopped. Throwing Duo's bandana away, I think that probably has symbolism to it, even if it doesn't to the characters. Also nice bit of research going into the self-regulation. I don't know whether or not it's accurate in real life, but it's *believable* here and that's what's important. Unfortunately, there are a lot of typos in this chapter. Most of them look sort of like having been written on a wireless keyboard with bad batteries - letters missing here and there. Spellchecker probably wont catch them all.

This is a great story! I can't wait to see what happens next. I love the mystery and the growing sexual tension between Duo and Wufei. And Trowa and Heero are totaly doing it. And what how serious are Heero's problems? I feel like Wufei is going to get seriously injuired in the next year before he gets out. This is so exciting I can't handle it. Please update soon! Please

Thank you for the wonderful chapter. I think it was rather hard for Wufei to ask Duo for help, especially when you know that he is/was actually a loner during the two wars. Although this new situation probably changed him a bit. I like the way their relation slowly seems to deepen, but I´m also sorry for the trouble it will cause. And I´m curious what Duo will find out and how this will affect Wufei and the others. Great chapter, please keep up the awesome work!

I love the last few lines about redrawing boundaries. Seems like Wufei's going to rough things up a bit, or have the others rough things up a bit now that there is something developing between he and Duo. =D I'm enjoying every update. Please keep up the great job. =)

What I wrote up there pretty much sums up my comment. And Wufei is bit more tired and mellow than the usual arrogant dragon I'm used to reading about but that's a given, seeing as how he's practically in prison for an undetermined amount of time. But even though the plot has me riveted, it the character interaction that has me coming back to this story. The OCs and the angst aren't bad either. :D

Thank you for the two fantastic chapters. The reunion on Wufeis birthday was kind of depressing when you think about how it ended. Wufei seemed so calm about the whole situation, the fight and that he was punished for it. He tolerates an accepts it all without scrutinizing, I think, being in this institution changed him. Well, the last chapter was really sad. They avoid to talk about Quatre, especially Wufei. I think Duo wants to talk about him (you mentioned the grief counselor) in an attempt to cope with it. I don´t know where to place that nightmare. Did Wufei and Quatre have some deeper relation? Or did he have that dream cause he dreaded the meeting with his friends and the unavoidable conversation? Or is it the great loss he is suffering from? I´m really curious about Wufeis relation to Quatre, cause it´s a little bit mysterious... It´s good that Trowa and Heero are there for each other, I hope it will work out for them, even though they have their own problems. Thank you for the chapters I´m looking forward for an update! I wonder what Wufei will ask Duo and how he will be able to help him.... Greetings Hisui

I love this story! Heero and Trowa? Not my favorite pairing, but their strangness and inability to communicate somehow makes sense of the pairing.

Please write more, this is a very enjoyable story, please go more into the whole Duo/Wufei thing, I normally don't like the paring at all, but this story sets it up so nicely. The angst is just right, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. You have me very intrigued. Please update soon, I am definatly enjoying this. It makes coming home from working at my computer, to staring mindlessly into yet another computer, all the more enjoyable.

Beautiful chapter, I liked the attention to detail here, and of course finally the 'reunion'. t felt and read pretty much how Wufei experiences it - things just happening so fast, then consequences that I think he's begun to tolerate out of a lack of strength to keep up with it all. I'm not entirely sure how, but his temper seems to be towards the end of the scale where he just doesn't have an outlet. The voices in this chapter sound very like coming from Endless Waltz.

I can't tell you how excited I was to see you have another story to share with us. And like the last one, this looks to be just a good. Poor Wufei. And I agree with Duo, there's something suspicious about Quatre's death... but why hasn't Heero and Trowa looked into it more thoroughly? I'm hoping to see another update soon. Excellent writing. Top notch continuation. I'd been worried for a bit after finishing the first chapter, that there would never be more added to it, because that chapter stood so well on its own despite having a plot-arch. Always a pleasant surprise to have fears soothed. The lead-in works nicely, if a bit confusing at the absolute beginning. It's easier to understand the time shift when coming directly from the previous chapter, than having waited for it.

Very interesting story! I dont´t understand why you only got 2 reviews so far?! I love your writing style and your characterisation of Wufei and I really want to know what will happen next. It´s a little bit sad thad Quatre commited suicide, but maybe there´s more behind his death? Can´t wait for an update! The plot is awesome and I wonder who was able to kill Benji in his room/cell. Something is definitely going on behind the scenes of that institution! I´ve also read "Through the furnace" on little piece of GW and absolutely loved it! Normally I don´t like AUs, but your story was so fascinating that I could´t stop reading it. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for your wonderful characterisation of Wufei! Greetings Hisui
