First of all, I take these ratings seriously, so know when I say this story was amazingly well written, I mean every word. Beautiful, and almost realistic. Wow how do you not have more reviews? I've only read the first chapter but I'm already in love with what you've done. I've read at least 50 Samurai Champloo fanfics from this and other sites and this has to be one of my favorites. I can't wait to read on!

I'm sorry you didn't get more reviews on this. I read through the three fics you have in this arc yesterday and was floored by them. I usually don't go for slash, but you did it so artfully that I was convinced. You really preserved all three characters' personalities from the series and made them deeper, especially Mugen. It was awesome to see all the events from his point of view, how he saw his own life, his four favorite things, his two favorite people, the way he fights, how he admires Jin's fighting style, how he's puzzled over why he loves Fuu, etc. He is such a versatile character and you painted him well. I absolutely loved all the interactions of the three and how close you made them. They really are inseparable, and I'm very happy that you had them stay together at the end. The scene where they're almost dead and lying on the rock in the ocean together; that just blew me away. It gripped my heart as I thought about, what if they do die and are reborn into different lives? They love each other so much; I hope they find each other. And then, thankfully you had them live. But that scene was just a masterpiece. Other small details were just so believable and fit into the show. Like when Mugen imagined Jin being a signal fire, literally, on a mountain. That just reminded me of the first episode when he "dreamed" Jin was in a bathtub in a burning room. Sometimes the human mind doesn't make much sense. But you laid it all out for readers to puzzle over along with Mugen himself. Thank you also for making Fuu more mature. She retains her talkativeness and fiery personality. At the same time she's got this drive to make the two men proud of her. Their time apart served to increase her independence a lot. And she became a mother figure, not just a girl to be defended or courted. The OCs and side characters were great too. I liked how you brought in Yatsuha. Wasn't really sure if I could trust her, but I'm glad in the end she helped them. I think that's about all I have to say for now. I see you've moved on from this fandom, but I hope that you will come back to it in the future. I just finished watching the series last week and it blew me away. Haven't found too many good SamCham fanfics, but yours just hit the spot. Thanks again.
