I have to admit I'm completely unfamiliar with Fullmetal Alchemist, but this is a damned good story, and makes me want to go watch the anime. Nicely done. (And congratulations on the contest win.)

I was slightly startled to see that no one else reviewed your story. I really like it, and would assume that I would be one of the masses. Oh well, their loss I guess. I'm glad it hasn't deterred you from writing. Wonderful chapter, and I loved the political elements you have in the latest part, particularly because its something I'm incapable of writing/thinking about. I was also captivated by the gory details of what was done to Edward. That may sound a little, or rather very, odd, but it showed a lot of creativity. A lot of other stories where similar things happen are very typical and get old quickly. Its nice to see pain done right. I hope I'm not coming off as a fool who loves pain and death like a second Poe...I enjoy cupcakes and butterflies a lot more.

Ohoohoo! Absolutely lovely! I'm also glad to see that you take after my own heart, and have the manga and anime elements in a story. It certainly is nice to see. But very nice chapter. Lots of things that can be expanded on and developed, which will just keep me coming back for more ^_^ Wonderful job.
