inuyasha might not have remembered the kiss, but he gave her one he will remember. i loved how you worked that out. houjou'sresponse to kagome's admissions has me a little perplexed. i was wondering about the 'dog prince' title, before. i'm glad that it wasn't just a throw away line. there was so much going on in this chapter. even without all the fights and action, it was riviting. thank you for a great post.

I am really enjoying this piece. I like the fortitude and inner will that Kagome is showing. So many authors have Kagome as a weak and wimpy character. I like that you have given her an iron will, even though flesh is sometimes weak. I enjoyed her interaction with the youkai on the street in this last chapter. They've definately gone from "there are no miko" to "there are miko that are going to fry me." Speaking of the youkai...where did they all come from so suddenly? I know that you aren't really going to tell us yet, but I have to wonder. I also really want to know exactly what happened to Inuyasha. Thanks for writing for us. I've really enjoyed this so far.

great update... like how kagome handled the situation with the youkai... would have been easier if her friends didn't follow her then she wouldn't have to worry about them too... but they can be really nosy... good thing kagome can make more protection rosaries for her family too... will inuyasha remember the kiss... update when you can... please and thank you...

This is by far one of the best fics I have read in a long time. The plot is very original, the imagery is very vivid, and you do an excellent job of keeping in character. And right now I am bouncing in anticipation of the next chapter- hopefully Inuyasha will finally wake up!

i love the way you a characterizing kagome. she has the inner strength to keep everyone safe, and now her family and friends get to see that, also. i think it's cute everytime she thinks of how much she's always depended on inuyasha's strength. i loved the kiss at the end. but if he doesn't remember when he wakes up it will be so frustrating! this is a great story. thank you for posting it!

so difficult to take care of a critically ill loved one and not know if they would survive (i have done it a few times) but add violent supernatural creatures into the mix and i'm quite sure that i would break after a while. it seems her confidence (even though she's scared and exhausted) seems to be improving. i know what it's like to do difficult almost impossible things because there's no one else and it has to be done; so she's doing what has to be done because no one else can do it. so happy yasha is improving and there will be relief in sight. . . an emotion packed tale that has one on the edge of the seat. ~ thank you, ginny

Good chapter. I really do enjoy stories where Kagome is allowed to come into her own, instead of always being this pitiful damsel in distress that Inuyasha has to rescue all the time. So, I am really enjoying the role reversal here. Not to say the Inuyasha is weak for getting hurt, but just because it forced Kagome to get stronger so that she can protect the people she cares about. Good story.

This is very good. I can't wait until you post another chapter. It's nice to see Kagome being the strong one for once. Some people would say she's OOC but I think that if Inuyasha was helpless as he is now that she would behave in just this manner. She doesn't prefer to be the strong one, the fighter, but will to what's nessicary to protect her loved ones. Please post again soon. Keep up the good work.

a story that grabs the interest of the reader, right from the start. how wonderful! thank you so much for a strong characterization for kagome, without loosing the beauty of the relationship between her and inuyasha. it's not an easy balance to maintain. the intensity of the action has caused great anticipation for the next chapter. i hate 'please update soon' reviews, but please update soon! thank you for a wonderful start to what looks to be a great story.

The premise for this story is very unique. I love how you're bringing the people in Kagome's modern life into awareness of what she's really been doing in the Feudal era. I eagerly await the next update.
