There would have been no way for the child to be able to read what he wrote. Literacy was mostly confined to the priesthood and the nobility and not even them sometimes. And where did the seven-pointed star come from? If she's been attacked and beaten by villagers, there is no way they would have left that one her. It either would have been destroyed or stolen.
