Hahaha, I can't wait to find out Sesshoumaru's reaction to being doused with water that early on a Saturday morning! I wonder if he was going to visit Kagome? Hmm.. :]

I am so loving this story! I wonder if or when the rest of the crowd shows up. Is shippou a youkai in this and does kags know? So many questions to ask but I will wait and let the story unfold. I am looking forward to how and where you will move this story... can't wait! Ja Ne! InuPriestess

First impressions? I was grinning like an idiot through this entire chapter. The last line got me, and I finally laughed out loud. One of them is fire and the other kerosene, and please don't ask which is which because it's impossible to say. Describing the take tambos as "bamboo fireflies" is genius. This story is simply gravity.

I love the details you present in this work so far. The setting is so well described I can "see" and "smell" and dare I say, "feel" the tea house. It is a living breathing intity, and things like this are fun to read. I must admit, it pained me to "see" Sesshoumaru crush the monarch, even if it is perfectly within his character to do so.

I am looking forward to this story. You seem to always be able to capture Sesshoumaru's arogance with realism and depth. Kagome's flare and fighting personality is never missing. I also really like the concept for their acquaintance. It puts them in the an interesting dynamic that has a lot of flexiblity. Emily
