This is an original AU to be sure. I the mention that this is an alternate history Japan diverging after the royal family was deposed had been made earlier because the political set up made no sense to me without that information. With that in mind this is very clever. I'm hoping that the spy isn't who I think and I'm looking forward to finding out and to verifying if my guess about the heir is correct.

great job at anticipating a plot hole. i never thought that without sesshoumaru showing inuyasha the power of his sword that inuyasha wouldn't have known. now he needs to find himself in a position with someone to protect to be able to discover the secret. what a great plot tool, and a great way to make use of it. this is such a pleasant story to read. i look forward to the notifications of your updates.

Good chapter. I was a bit behind on chapters, but I'm mostly caught up now. I figured that Kagome had more of a history than just battling. This last chapter explained a whole lot. What an awful dilemma Inuyasha and Kagome were forced into. I will definitely be looking forward to the next chapter.

Omg! Poor Inuyasha and kagome thats so sad they got everything taken from them. I wonder if inuyasha will try to find kagome with his time off or will she try to fnd him? I wait till the next chapter Update soon!!!

there is only one plausible reason for selling out both sides: whoever they are, they hope that both sides wil be weakened, sounded, adn unable to fight after a long war, allowing the third party the ability to extinguish both sides and rule the world. It's an often seen phenomenon in asian war movies. I do believe I am right - may I have a confirmation?

*rubbing hands evily* I love cloak and dagger stuff! And Inu in a suit, in human form is absoulutely delicious!!! The banter between Inuyasha and Koga had me giggling like crazy! Poor Puppy!!! lol...can't wait for the next chapter! I really hope Inuyasha and Kags get some "alone" time!

Good chapter. I'm picking up a little bit late on this story, but it sounds interesting. Thanks again for not making Kagome an annoying damsel in distress. Reading about eternal victims bores the devil out of me, lol. And I look forward to seeing what you do with Rin...and with Sesshoumaru and Kagura; they clearly aren't through with each other yet. Otherwise, Sessh wouldn't be insisting on saying aloud that they were finished; if he didn't care, the ice prince just wouldn't refer to their past relationship at all. So, I will definitely stay tuned...
