You included one of my favorite parts of the anime, where Vegeta and his father are watching the pods with weak saiyans being sent off planet. Not many stories have it, but I love how it shows young Vegeta's state of mind, his disregard for other saiyans through feeling superior over them. Sets his character up for the whole series, how every humiliation hits doubly hard as he is supposed to be the pinnacle of saiyan evolution but can't stop what happens to him. Such a tragic character, you just have to feel for him. Just a small criticism. Could you space the paragraphs out more as it's a little difficult to read with them all bunched up like that.

I do love a story where the Saiyans still live, especially one with King Vegeta/Bardock sex in. Shame they have to hide it.
