Still just as funny as it was the first time I read it. I've got a couple of new suggestions for you for an AU setting. Kouga is Kagome's abusive and/or obsessive ex-boyfriend whom she's running away from, and at some point in time he'll reappear insisting that Kagome is "his", even if he's the one who originally left her. Also, from running away and having to support herself in a strange city, Kagome is most likely a stripper. On the other side of the coin, Kikyou, who was Inuyasha's high-school love, eventually left Inuyasha because he was a disgusting half-breed, but after he hooks up with Kagome and starts to think he can love again, Kikyou suddenly reappears and tries to woo him back.

haha....I'd puke of intoxication before I got finished with the first page. One thing about King Baka's suggestion...in the anime, her eyes are brown, but from what I've seen of the manga, it 'looks' like her eyes are blue. So that's probably where that particular cliche' came from. But then again, I've never read the official character profiles, so someone would have to as Takahashi herself. And don't forget (for AUs) playboy InuYasha tries to seduce Kagome, who plans on getting payback for all the girls' hearts' he's broken, but they end up falling for eachother despite their relative personal principles. I've been seeing that in a lot of discontinues fics recently.

"-Fic is said to have Mir/San paring, but nothing happens between them" As a big fan of Mir/San (and not so much of the uber-cliche that is Inu/Kag), THANK YOU. I am SO sick of that one, and it crops up so damned often. Very enjoyable fic. I got a good laugh out of it. ^^

You've compiled quite a list here. Some of the cliches you've listed are ridiculous and aggravating (like when people don't finish their fanfictions!!) I actually like some of the other ones you've listed, however, and some of them are even pet peeves of mine. Here's another cliche you might want to think about adding: Kagome's eyes are blue when they are clearly brown in both the anime and the manga.

Cute, but the problem is that you've listed so many things that it's quite impossible for a lemon to not have at least a few. And some of the things on the list don't make sense, like "the story has won an award" and "Inuyasha swears". Others are just common sense, like Inuyasha being careful of his claws - would be a pretty morbid lemon scene if it ended with Kagome bloody all over. There's a cute fic in here, myself having done something similar with story cliches. Maybe if you try to wrap a story around the cliches instead of just listing them, it would make a pretty amusing story.

How about the cliche where either Kagome or InuYasha is the 'shy virgin' who doesn't know anything about sex.

You forgot sex by the well (usually either right before Kagome goes home because she's gotten in a fight with Inu or right after it. And especially don't forget sex under the Goshinboku tree... This is fun.

Man...and I've used almost every one of these. LOL. But at least I know I'm good at summaries, and I never voice a desire to own Inuyasha myself, sheesh. Oh, also, I will never abandon any of my stories, leaving them unfinished. But man does that happen a LOT, and that's totally annoying. Especially when it was actually a pretty good story. Oh! I just thought of another cliche to add to your list, for an "AU" setting. Kagome doesn't know youkai are real until Inuyasha reveals himself as a hanyou, and she's totally okay with it (and tweaks his ears).
