Hahaha you forgo...... Kagome and inuyasha fight and curse at each other and once they are lovers kagome isn't so aggressive anymore instead she is a typical love sick puppy and all he does is suddenly okay >.> like where did her self respect go bro? She is fierce and independent not dumb and only lives for her man though I get why they do it she does seem like the begging type. |

I about fell out of my bed when I was reading this, it was so hilariously spot on. I have a group of friends, we come of age (21) next year around the same time when I get to see them again, and I think this is a must for the big night. We're gonna be smashed ten minutes into it. Hahaha. |

Homing in on Kagome's eye color in the manga is tricky....Looking at my covers of Manga vols 6 and 5 in the older larger format release, her eyes are clearly blue. Vol 9, current edition gray. v 32, very dark, v. 11, somewhere between gray and brown. Vol 18, same. vol 4, blue. In the Art of InuYasha, p 2, gray-violet. p. 20, gray. p. 67, blue. pg. 71, gray. pg 76, brown. pg 88, blue. Blue/gray seems to dominate. Therefore, I tend to describe her eyes as blue-gray. Therefore folks who say her eyes are blue aren't repeating a fanon convention. Her eyes are really blue a lot of the time in the manga. FYI. This just got me curious, so I had to go look it up.

lmao I think of all this stuff when reading crappy fics. lol but you forgot a few. X Suddenly Kagome can't sit him . Inuyasha's hand is covering her mouth, he's standing close enough for her to be sat with him, or the rosarie breaks. X They realize their feelings after some near death experience. X Inuyasha realizes he must mate Kagome after she's almost taken away and mated by someone else (Kouga, Naraku, Sesshomaru, human bandits, ect.) X Kagome just happens to have a box of condoms with her that she brings back from the future that gives Inuyasha naughty ideas. X Said condoms never quite fit Inuyasha. 9.999 times out of ten, they're too small. X They meet AU at a night club and despite all the different smells of humans in the room, Inuyasha catches her scent in particular. X They meet AU in a night club and Kagome draws attention with her amazing "You Got Served" dance moves and "Sparkling-should-be-brown-but-are-for-some-reason-blue" eyes. X Inuyasha and Kagome have sex while the family is conveniently away visiting some distant relative. X Stories that have thirty chapters or more but the chapters themselves are only about a paragraph long. X Story titles that have nothing to do with the story (I mean what does evenescence really have to do with a school au love plot?) X Titles talking about how they can't come up with a title. and last but certainly most annoying to me... X The chapter that seems long but is just stretched out with a bunch of unnecessary song lyrics.

Sesshoumaru is nice and wants to "introduce" Kagome into the family... (and thus make InuYasha a part of the family(some people just cant have enough....))

Still just as funny as it was the first time I read it. I've got a couple of new suggestions for you for an AU setting. Kouga is Kagome's abusive and/or obsessive ex-boyfriend whom she's running away from, and at some point in time he'll reappear insisting that Kagome is "his", even if he's the one who originally left her. Also, from running away and having to support herself in a strange city, Kagome is most likely a stripper. On the other side of the coin, Kikyou, who was Inuyasha's high-school love, eventually left Inuyasha because he was a disgusting half-breed, but after he hooks up with Kagome and starts to think he can love again, Kikyou suddenly reappears and tries to woo him back.

haha....I'd puke of intoxication before I got finished with the first page. One thing about King Baka's suggestion...in the anime, her eyes are brown, but from what I've seen of the manga, it 'looks' like her eyes are blue. So that's probably where that particular cliche' came from. But then again, I've never read the official character profiles, so someone would have to as Takahashi herself. And don't forget (for AUs) playboy InuYasha tries to seduce Kagome, who plans on getting payback for all the girls' hearts' he's broken, but they end up falling for eachother despite their relative personal principles. I've been seeing that in a lot of discontinues fics recently.

You've compiled quite a list here. Some of the cliches you've listed are ridiculous and aggravating (like when people don't finish their fanfictions!!) I actually like some of the other ones you've listed, however, and some of them are even pet peeves of mine. Here's another cliche you might want to think about adding: Kagome's eyes are blue when they are clearly brown in both the anime and the manga.

Cute, but the problem is that you've listed so many things that it's quite impossible for a lemon to not have at least a few. And some of the things on the list don't make sense, like "the story has won an award" and "Inuyasha swears". Others are just common sense, like Inuyasha being careful of his claws - would be a pretty morbid lemon scene if it ended with Kagome bloody all over. There's a cute fic in here, myself having done something similar with story cliches. Maybe if you try to wrap a story around the cliches instead of just listing them, it would make a pretty amusing story.
