I'm pretty sure that "eien" alone is actually the word for "eternity". "Ni" is an action particle, which I think makes the expression "eien ni" translate as "for eternity" or something like that, but "eternally" could be another translation. Very creative, and a wonderful title for your little poem. I wouldn't change a thing.
