what holds him to his master? is it like when they secure a baby elephant with a rope and when it grows up a rope is enough to hold it because it all it knew was that the rope could hold it and didn't figure out that it got stronger than the rope? or does naraku have something to make him submit? ... interesting conversation between the two. looks like they're drawn to each other. ~ a pleasure, ginny

i hate when the mediaminer goblin eats your line breaks. it seems to happen quite frequently. it happened to every chapter you revised. i'm not sure how to fix it just to add more and try again i guess.

Miroku whipped away some of the excess rice off his lips 'whipped' - beat severely with a whip or rod. you meant 'wiped' - rubbed. . . i suggest downloading 'wordweb' {wordweb[dot]info} it is a dictionary/thesaurus, highlight a word and click the toolbar icon, easy to use. i have recommended it to the authors i beta for and they all like it. . . what part of 'he won't hurt me' do they not understand? and don't they know you don't corner a wild thing, it usually strikes out and they endangered her more by reacting. . . exciting chapter. ~ thank you, ginny

This is such a good story and you've written it so that there is a significant difference between beast InuYasha and normal one...yet it's subtle at the exact same time. Kudos to you you amazing writer! Great chapter, update soon :) ~Amber

one feels she should have told him of the fact that he had spared her and of the horrible anguish in his eyes. she will have to try to break the control the evil king has over him and will get no help from her companions if she doesn't enlist it. at least she's making an effort. good chapter... however you mixed up whipped for wiped and vise/versa~ thank you, ginny

the heart wrenching account of the boy's loss at the hands of an evil, deranged despot and then i guess seventeen years later, the aminal he was turned into... he still has his heart. a tragic beginning, one hopes it will only get better and will look forward to that brighter future. ~ thank you, ginny

What an opening! I will say that I my heart goes out to poor little Inuyasha, watching his mother like that. You really did well for a first chapter, and that's really hard to do. You drew me in and laid out the suspense for a great tale! There's so much I want to know. Who was the bastard that ordered her death? What will happen to Inuyasha? I love it! I hope the next chapter can come soon, I'm excited to see where this is going.
