Comment/Review:
you write well (some verb tenses are mixed). your story is interesting. characterization is a bit o.o.c. (who knows, something could change a person in 500 years). your biggest problem is your "summary sucks" statement. your summary is just fine but most won't read beyond the "summary sucks" so if you want readers do a once over edit and then remove the disparaging remark about your summary.
