This was an engrossing tale. I can actually see the possibility that someone would have a sexual response to being tattooed. Poor Shippou. If only he had waited, Souten could have possibly saved him. I'm not surprised that the dragon had been saved in a jar. What makes me wonder is the fact that this is supposed to be real and that Kagome was mentioned as a part of the group. So, does someone know that she was telling the truth about her trips through the well? And, I wonder exactly who this historian is? Is it Hojo? He is a historian after all. And, who is his secret source? I wonder if he discredited Kagome and then used her knowledge to advance his career. Hm, this tale leaves a lot of questions. I am not finished reading, so I guess, I may find my answers. ^_^ Snow
