This is your first fanfic? It's very well done and such a pleasure to read! I stumbled on your oneshot collection, which was just totally awesome and I will leave a plethora of reviews there in a while, but I wanted to read your stories from the beginning. You write action scenes very well, I must say. Your writing style has also improved (not saying this was bad, in fact the flow is perfect, it's very easy to read and it is nicely written, but it has gotten better) and I really like your characterizations. Can't wait to read the rest of your fics!

the intensity of the first chapter grabbed my attention from the beginning. you were so in tough with this story that you gave it a life of its own. i felt inuyasha's indignation over the bandit's treatment of kagome, and his desperate desire to protect her, no matter what. i loved the way you gave them both their own chance to shine. he protected her from outside dangers, while she literally held his death at bay, and gave his life back to him. the second chapter was a wonderful exploration of dealing with the growing emotions that had been acknowledged in the first. the tempo of the story completely changed, which would seem to make it hard for the two chapters to mesh into one story, but it didn't. i don't know how you accomplished that, but you handled it very well. your characterizations and descriptions were done so well that i could see and hear the characters as i read the story. you have a very natural writing style, and this story had such a wonderful flow. i could see the care and time that you invested in writing this, and i thank you for sharing it.

This is odd isn't it? Reviewing a story without even reading it first *lol*. I wanted to speak to you personally (in a sense) and tell you that your review was one of my more refreshing ones. I can see from your overall speech that you are a good writer, and I find it utterly flattering that an eloquent male such as yourself left me such an etertaining critique. I generally assume all my fans are female, which I admit is quite stereotypical of me. I'm happy to inform you that I will be posting a full-length story. I daresay that it might be slow in coming, but, for what it's worth, I've already started it's prologue. I hope that I will have your continued support, and you can count on another review from me when I have read this fic in its entirety. I thought it fitting to remark on your oneshot, as that is what you did for me. I'm looking forward to reading it, and I hope this is not the last I've heard from you.

wow I absolutely lovveedd this story one of the best i have ever ever read and you had such great wording like during the CPR scene I was like nooooo way Inuyasha cant die! you had me going for a moment lol but I just wanted you to know that you did a very good job and I cant wait to read more of your work! Wow! I can't wait for this next chapter . . . I thought poor Inu was going to die so I was on the edge of my seat xD I think the idea of Kagome breathing for Inu for a bit is really sweet, he should thank her haha. Great job, keep it up!

It seems only fitting that I should be the one to leave you your first review, although I can't honestly say how that came to be. One heck of a coincidence, I suppose, since I merely stumbled upon your story while browsing the new releases. While the underlying concept of your story is similar to mine, you have come up with many new twists and turns which have made your version completely unique, and fully your own. I only noticed any direct similarities between our stories during the CPR scene, and even then, you changed things around by having Miroku and Sango assist Kagome, and also in having Inuyasha remain asleep after sunrise. I noticed a couple of insignificant typos that you might want to go back and fix just to spruce things up, but they in no way detracted from my enjoyment factor, and I eagerly await the second installment.
