I think you did a lovely job with her introspection. I could see her always-optimistic side mixed with that of a grieving, yet happy-her-daughter-found-the-love-of-her-life-again viewpoint. Makes me remember that she is a widow and then this pondering of hers seems bittersweet. I love how she saw InuYasha as well--my heart swelled a bit, really. Gonna read some more of your pieces and comment! You have a lovely talent!
