"The Comma" Reviews/Comments [ 5 ] | Reviewed By: King Baka [MediaMiner Member] On: November 12, 2008 15:37 CST Comment/Review: Yessss!!! Bad grammar drives me insane, and one of the biggest problems people have is incorrect use of the comma (and the semicolon, for that matter). I use the comma a lot in my fanfictions, and my writing in general; it's a great way to make sure the reader understands exactly what you're trying to say. I've never heard the rule "when in doubt, leave it out" applied to commas before, and I'm glad. With all the stupid rules flying around in the English language, that one has got to be one of the stupidest. I completely agree with everything you said.
